Hollywood producer and director George Lucas topped the 2001 Forbes Celebrity 100 list, having earned a record-breaking 250 Million in 2000 after the video release of Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace

Harrison Ford has acted in some 25 films generating total box-office earnings of $3,010,111,472. Of these pictures, ten have taken over $200 million. Star Wars (USA 1977), starring Ford as Han Solo, has made the most money so far, taking $783,600,000 worldwide. Born in Chicago, Illinois, USA on July 13,1942 Harrison Ford starred in his first TV role in an episode of the The Virginian in 1967 followed in the same year with his first credited film role as Lieutenant Shaffer in the Western A Time for Killing. With few roles being offered he became a carpenter, but was given his big break in 1973 with the ole of Bob Falfa in the George Lucas film American Graffiti. Four years later he starred as Han Solo in Star Wars, and his movie career has gone from strength to strength ever since.

Star Wars (1977) originally took 513.7 Million worldwide. In an Inflation-adjusted list, the film comes 2nd only after "Gone With the Wind" (1939) with an international gross of 1,561,189,344.

Money Spinners
Opening in 2, 920 theaters, Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace reached the 100 Million mark in a record of 5 days from May 23-28 1999, breaking the previous record set by "Jurassic Park: The Lost World" for the fastest time to reach 100 Million. When the priview was first released, cinimas reported that some people bought tickets, only to walk out ince they had seen the Star Wars: Episode I preview.

Most Oscar Nominations For a Living Person
The composer John Williams has had 38 Academy Award nominations making him the most-nominated living person. His first nomination was for Best Music, Scoring of Music, Adaption, or Treatment for "Vally of the Dolls" (1967). His 38th  nomination for Best Original Score was for "The Pratriot" (2000) in 2001.

Largest Star Wars Memorabilia Collection
Jason Joiner (UK) started his collecting Star Wars toys as a 12-year-old, and has never stopped. A special effects expert who has worked on the Star Wars films made in the UK, he has a collection of over 20, 000 Star Wars toys. In addition, Joiner has one of the original C-3PO robots, an original R2-D2, and an original Darth Vader costume. Only Star Wars creator George Lucas has a larger collection of props and costumes. Joiner hopes to open a museum to house some of his collection.
