The Phantom Menace: Continued
A hand landed on Obi-Wan's shoulder. It was Mace Windu. "Master Jinn was a good Jedi. He was rebellious and followed prophecies more than he should have. But, nevertheless, he was a good Jedi."
Anakin Skywalker, finally done saying goodbye to Queen Padmé Amidala, walked up to them and stopped, looking up curiously.
Mace stepped back, "Be wary of your apprentice, Knight Kenobi. Darkness lays in him." Mace turned and continued up the boarding ramp, joining Yoda and talking to him in a low voice.
Obi-Wan felt a tug at the hem of his tunic and looked down, "Master... what did he mean by that?"
Obi-Wan looked back at Mace, "Nothing, Anakin. Qui-Gon believed in you, so I do too. You'll become a great Jedi." Obi-Wan saw Mace glance back at him, then disappear from sight.
