The words were originally from Robert Graves'
poem, "Battle of the Trees".
Williams had a few lines translated into sanskrit:
"Under the tongue root, a fight most dread
And another rages behind in the head."
He also had a line of his own translated for the song:
"Death's long sweet sleep."
